anyone had experience using Monkey juice? Seems to make my PH very difficult to lower. Anyone had this problem with it? Not sure i like it, although i hear good things. thanks

Heard of it, but we don't get the full range of AN nutes down under....

 

Might be providing some buffering capacity to the nutrient, which will make it resist pH change.... tis a good thing really, provided you're not constantly adding pH down...

 

Make sure your medium pH is okay too, it's one thing to set the res pH but if you haven't flushed a hydro media with pH adjusted water before hand, (like just used tap water to rinse and then straight into the GR) then you may be getting drift due to this....

Be very careful if your using Barricade it will push your pH way up ,try lower it with fulvic acid Cheers Ozdaz
