URGENT ANSWERS NEEDED!

I have a drama which is too involved to go into but basically puts me in the situation where I have to turn the light off in my cupboard tonight - meaning that the plants will have 36hrs of dark in a row.

They are at 5 and 1/2 weeks flower for anyone not reading the diary.

Will this screw them? Will it cause any damage?

Yeah they should handle it no problems, it would be best to keep the ventilation running if possible though.

Hey bud,plants ,like people have an internal clock that runs a 24-27 hour cyclic rate.

Leaving your plants in the dark for 24 hours or longer will reset this clock,as if no time was missed at all.

A handy thing if you decide to change the start time for your lights from daytime to evening etc.

Yah 1 day with the lights off is no problem , not optimum ofc , bet hell better for em than staying on all day

And yes , keeping at least some ventilation going would be the go

 

It would be interesting to see how a plant at that stage could handle a few days darkness tho wouldn't it , or maybe a week ..

Prolly wouldn't die .. but would be lookin a bit sick .. I wonder if would be too much shock or whether it could continue to flower once revived

Heheh , don't like the chances of seeing this particular experiment done anytime soon tho

if it was earlier you may have gotten abit of stretch but at almost 6 weeks they would have finished stretching if i was you i would add a day or to at the end of flower so that ya make up for lost time
