i want to make a salad dressing using canna oil,how long to simmer the oil?,same as butter?,do i add water?,the oil will surly spit etc.I know most people like butter to use in recipies but oil is so much easier/or as easy

Canna-Oil Salad dressing would be pretty strong in canna-taste in some cases. Just use 2-3 tablespoons of Canna-Oil and the rest with whatever oil you normally use, it's silly to use 100% Canna-Oil in Salad dress, it will be very potent and taste bit....."green".

When make canna-oil just do the same way as making canna-butter just replace the butter with oil, just simmer for over 7 hours with weed, water and oil, just keep topping up with water over time.

 

But Sometimes, it gets bit tricky to seperate the oil and the water, after setting in the COLD fridge overnight, the oil and water will seperate, it will be the oil floating on the top of water (just like oil spill : If it gets bit tricky for you to seperate the oil, just chuck in the freezer and get the water freeze, and you just scrap off the oil on the top of frozen water. Without getting the oil mixed up in the water.

 

You have to use water when making up Canna-Oil because if you just used just Oil, you will be practially cooking the weed to crisp and make too dangerous fire-wise, yeah hot oil and water is dangerous fire hazard, but its only if you had bucket of boiling hot oil and you pour water ONTO the hot bucket of oil... BOOM! but when making Canna-Oil you are using LARGE amounts of water and small amounts of oil, so its all safe really.

cheers urbanhog, question answerd.by mixing the oil with "basamic vinagar" and fresh herbs should kill most of the green taste.I will inform you of how it goes

and bit of teaspoon of French Mustard...and some pepper to taste, its very interesting nice taste.
