ok, as long you pay with mail order check, not credit cards, dont get them deleivered to the address you will be growing, you will be fine

I prefer to go to the hydro shop in person, that way I can compare products, get information about new products and have a bit of a chat in general about what's happening in the local grow scene, support a local business and I get my purchase as soon as I pay for it.

i've always shopped online but wanted to shop in person when it comes to growing equipment...but tom, do the ppl in the stores ever ask what exactly you're trying to grow? is it enough to tell them tomato plants? hehehe

Hey BB, if they ask, just tell them you're growing vegetables or something... Usually it's best to go to a hydro shop outside of your area so as your not a familiar face to them...

Hydro punters never talk about ganja directly its always about harvesting, yeild, veg & flower...

never say "tomatoes" too obivious... seems it sounds like a "code" for mj growing, they never ask much, they usually very helpful with yeilds, haverest, nutes, etc etc

 

argee with GrowMad here, shop the next suburb or whatever so you are not a familar face in the area...

I thought you lived in Melbourne? surely there must be hydro stores around the city.

About 90% of the nutrients on sale at my hydro store are mj specific, a good hydro store knows what their customers want and are not going to jeopardise their business by putting their customers in to the cops, they are more likely to remember you if you don't buy mj nutrients.

 

I spent years growing with broad spectrum nutrients, the mj specific ones are superior.
