$1.2m hydroponic cannabis seized

A MAN has been charged after police seized hydroponic cannabis worth an estimated $1.2 million in Sydney's south-west.

 

Officers attached to the South West Metropolitan Region Enforcement Squad have been investigating organised crime syndicates involved in the cultivation of cannabis.

 

Squad members searched a house in Moorebank at about 7am (AEST) yesterday.

 

Police will allege they found 169 mature cannabis plants and more than 24kg of cannabis head and leaf.

 

The cannabis has a combined estimated potential street value of more than $1.2 million, police said.

 

A 29-year-old Dulwich Hill man was arrested at the scene and taken to Liverpool Police Station for questioning.

 

He is to face Liverpool Local Court today charged with running drug premises, cultivation of cannabis plants for commercial purposes, supply and possession of a prohibited drug, and stealing electricity.

Let me get my calculator out . Right-y-o, Police would estimate a Kilo at a minimum of $10,000 per Kilo,so 24Kgs X $10,000 = $240,000 ,now that leaves approximately $1,000,000 divided by 169 plants = $5917.16 per plant which = a yield of OVER a HALF KILO (17-18 ounces per plant in a hydro set up) per plant !!!! BULLSHIT wouldn't even get you yields that high,fucking liars,shill willing journalist government propagandists never ever ask a QUESTION,these fleabags are just tape recorders for government lies and propaganda,don't they own a calculator?Don't they know how to google?

 

And of course they stole electricity and as we have discussed here many times:

stealing electricity, relationship break-up that turn nasty,and nosey neighbours and a blaise` attitude get you done double quick.
