me heri was transplanted last wed..

from coco/perlite to straight canna coco

the get canna coco nutes with some silica majic

superthrive and rhizotonic...ec 1.2 ph 5.8

this growth has me worried..shes still in vege

on 24 hr spectrum 64000k CFL fluoro..

all help is appreciated guys

.. this is strange one.. and ive never really got his my self... but after some googling and a bit of a read up ive come up with this page...

theres a little bit to read.. but from what I can gather from this page youve got your self a slight Zinc deficiency... usually micro nuites like Z, Mg, Mn, fe, C... are all caused by an imbalance of PH

im gunna flush with ec1.0

i just got a new probe for me pH meter

im servin at 5.8 ph and runnoff is at 6.0??

ill have to flush the medium to try and make a steady base for her..

grr i hate this shit..might just leave the silica out for the moment too

With Canna nutrients you need to add a little Mg (epsom salts) and coco likes the PH to be up a little higher, around 6.3 - 6.5.

ive always served me nutes up in coco at 6.0

untill 2 grows ago,we it was suggested i go 5.8

6.3-6.5 was for soil i always understood it..

i am truely stumped on this 1...

i appreciate the advice,and i will try 6.3

on me plants in vege and see if there is any difference

i successfully just flushed 9 ltrs threw me 2 ltr pot

ph was 5.8 and ec read 1.0

lets see wat happens from there

ya ph is a little low i reckon.. but not too low it should be causing issues... ya EC 1.0.. is way too low.. try doubling that to around 1.8-2.2

I run my ppms at around 1600-1800 which is around 2.4ec

the 1.0 ec was just for the 9 litre flush

but i will kick it up to 1.6 instead of the 1.2 ish of norm

i run the higher up to 2.4 ec in flower though

I found that a foliar spray of epsom for the Mag def works better then mixing it in the res - it fucks your EC reading.

looks to me like your pH is slightly off, i would just flush them with heaps of pH adjusted water and give them a small feed of those canadian xpress nutes as they are designed for coco and have a little extra magnesium and calcium in them
