Basic Guide to OSA (OZ Stoners Australia) for New Members

 

For a start welcome for all new members!!

 

This I have figured is needed due to the many new users that have come in since my arrival and the great resources within the site for both our fellow stoners and growers that I feel are only found when you stumble upon them.

 

This will try and be a very quick display of the areas within and associated with OSA and where they are located. I will not try and produce a detailed walkthrough of each area as I see that the place is easy enough to work out but instead I will generate here a sort of summary or each of the invaluable things within the site or spawned of the site

 

Site Navigation

 

OK once your signed up and in the site your gunna have the following options at the top of each page you are in on the site and they are often overlooked.

Global Navigation

 

• Gallery: Ahh this is of course a great area to perve on all those yummy images of cannaporn so jump in and enjoy the images. WARNING Drool does have a habit of ruining keyboards.

 

• Cannabis Strain Guide: “NEW!” This great resource is a very new addition to the site all bow to Pure for hes creation and upcoming total reference to all the great strains available for us to smoke. The strains are with full images and details of grows for so jump in and find that strain ppl are talking about.

 

• Seedbank Retailer Database: “NEW!” This resource is a very new addition to the site for total reference to the seedbanks aroudn the world and how peoples experiences have been. If you already have you own experiance to share it's open to anyone

 

• Learning Center:: This is the part I love Information for the budding grower chief or illiterate reader of the forums (Im the former hehe) if its not there check my ebook Ohh god i couldnt help myself could I

In this area you will find detailed information on

Growing etc actually anything that was worth more then a pinning in the forums has found its way into here to create a growing section full of tutorials to guide you through many processes often step by step with images.

Cookbook::

Are you sick of takeaway and a bong well jump in here and read up you will soon be eating like a stoned king. There is both recipes with marijuana and without so guaranteed you will find something to impress and stone your friends or your stomach.

Room Calculators::

This is an area to get a guide for your grow room all you have to do is put in your room size etc and it will tell you details such as lighting requirements ventilation etc. A MUST visit for new growers or those upgrading there system

Glossary::

“What are we on about in the threads what are all these words they are using to help you or others?” If you think this then crawl in here when no one is looking and find its meaning. If the word aint there ask someone and then add it to the glossary as since you wanted to know there will be others that wont ask trying to look cool.

 

• Site Search:: Obviously this area is for searching the threads within OSA and a great way of finding information and views on many a topic.

 

• Shop:: Ahh so you want a new bong or something related to the site. Jump in and go hard. With an increasing range of products its one of the best ways to purchase a tried and tested implement of utensil to make your life as a stoner more enjoyable (If possible hehe) and best of all shopping with the OS shop directly supports this community to keep it going year after year with added bonuses like prizes for comps

 

• Live Chat::The Only 24/7 ongoing Session in the world!! Chat live with Moderators regulars and newbuds alike in a nifty secure chat interface. Call 420 in chat to have a cone with the other chatters then another and another then sit back and relax.

 

• Link Section::Hey you think you’re the only one sick of googling for pot sites well your note this is a collection of pot related sites other then OSA that you may find usefull. Any sites you have that you find useful feel free to add them to save us looking for them.

 

Your Controls

 

• My Cp::This provides you the ability to add edit and work within your account getting sending and reading messages adding editing images etc. Have a browse you will be surprised the power of some of the options in there.

 

• View New Posts:: This is the easiest way to see what you have missed since your last visit it shows you each thread that has changed since your last visit to OSA

 

• Games:: Warning many hours can be lost as well as relationships when you go here stoned. These are a collection of online games for members allowing you to bash fellow members high scores from the ladder and then gloat on your success!

 

• Calendar:: This is a fully functional place to manage your growing or real life schedule providing a full month by month calendar to add your important dates and events. Great for marking your grow schedule in with out fear of forgetting.

 

• My Assistant:: A nifty little popup that can be very helpful checking new post messages etc

 

• New Messages:: This is your OSA “You Have Mail!!” alert once you receive email it will show here saving you checking your Cp each login

 

Posting in Threads

 

This is one of the most common parts of the forums your views are always wanted!!

 

Note: There is no such thing as a stupid thread or post we have all asked before that is why we know and no one has the right to mock you for any question (But do please search or read the growfag in case your question has been asked before)

 

Get in there and have your say if you think on something in a thread jump in and speak your mind.

 

There is such a thing as common decent behavior so please use some but hell we all are stoned so there is a bit of leeway given hehe. (and some real mean ugly mods so beware….I bow for forgiveness Almighty ones!!)

 

Have a play with the Quote system as in a busy thread it is often easier to have the reference showing who and what you are commenting on.

 

So you want to get help with your grow or setting up your grow!!!

 

The best advice for you is to start a thread in the section that best suites your system and chuck up your plans for all to discuss. This way you will see many opinions and views on each and every part of your setup or outdoor grow from experts to fools alike you will soon know who to listen to and who not to.

 

NOTE: Once you start a new thread in a forum area there is a guide given showing what information should be provided to stop the regulars having to ask for these details and helping you get a quick and precise answer

 

Remember if you take advice with out understanding what the logic behind the advice is then ask without learning you are not helping yourself.

 

Also if you are unsure who to believe then check their galleries and see who's got the better looking buds hehe

 

Summary

 

Sit back relax and enjoy ... This not just a forum its a community and if we stay together one day the day will come and we can all meet up and share a session and our tails in person without fear or parenoia..

you have seen the method mongy ... we've discussed it ..... It does work ... ive tried it only once though and found way more fems than males .... just my 2cents ... may need further testing ...

Well I will be testing with my grand daddy purps in a few weeks. Non fem seeds.

 

Even if it is only 90% or even 80% right. It is good for starting your own seed bank. Also the saving on fem seeds vs reg seeds is worth your time.

 

I think the best thing is making your own stairns.
