inbred only

i was browsing seed banks recently. i saw that dutch passions P.P. is inbred only, never hybridised. can anyone tell me, does this mean i can breed from them and the offspring will stay true. i saw one growing in the bush recently and it looks the goods.....cheers....B.B....

it really depends on how many times the strain has been inbred, but the more times it has the more stable any hybrid you make with it should be

I dunno for sure BB .. but the way i see it is, crack a pack of them and you will soon see how alike or unlike they are ... if they all come out matching like clones i reckon they maybe true breeding ( make allowances for the inherent different stucture between the sexes but if the males are alike an the females alike ).. then start making babies

ya gotta try it BB .. cause can you really beleive what the commercially minded seed marketer says in his spiel

thanks for replies. i don't wanna hybridise it. i want a fuckin big bag of P.P. seeds. i just was'nt sure if i bred it back with itself, that it would start to shit itself. friend of mine bought some D.P. - P.P. seeds and got one seed to grow. $67 for a seed is not good buying. $ 67 for 1000 sounds like a good price though.
