MH better than cfl for flowering?

Hi all,

 

I have just been given a free 400w MH

I am currently flowering under 8 23W CFL's

Will the MH be the way to go for flowering now?

Also do they make HPS conversion bulbs for MH ballists I have only heard of them the other way around?

not sure about the mh to hps but im pretty sure they do, and yeah mh is fine for flower, i know people who use nothing but and get chunky buds, as for the swap in lights, i would guess that a mh would be better than the cfls although im not sure 100% only about 75-90%, can you run both the mh and 8 cfls that would be best or run the mh with 2 or 4 cfls, any how the more light the better, the better colour spectrum the better, so go th mh.

also 8 cfls will probally cover more area than a 400 watt light, and the 400 will need to be further from the plants to stop light burn, for the small amount of power a 400 uses just plug it in in the center of the others.

I think the CFL's have a better light spectrum for flowering so I hope the two go well together
