South coast flowering times

Hey everyone my m60's outside have just started to flower.

 

If i start some new seeds (outdoor mix) outside now will they start to flower straight away? I want them to veg for a few months when i start some new ones so they don't end up tiny. Will they grow all year round or do they just start to flower at this time of year no matter what the size?

Hi NT, Thats a very interesting question which i do not know the answer.

 

Is it your idea to let them veg through southern winter??? Out in the open you will have to be carefull of frost and cold wind.

Yeah mate, a bit late for your outdoories this season now.

 

Save em for sept, oct germ if you can. (sth coast)

So close. but yet too close to 12/12 outdoors. If you were to germ some seeds now the plants won't have a long enough veg wich means small plants wich leads to less yield.. Tis why I opted for clones

Will they still veg for a while before flowering even in winter?

You can put seeds out now however as you have to go 2 weeks with the germing stage then veg another 4 to get a decent amount of veg in - hence some decent bud.

 

 

I have plants outsside now and they are all in flower. Alot depends on your latitude, the amount of light availiable (over 12 hours).

 

I'm going to put 2-4 new clones outsied in this week. I have already rooted them which means no germination stage and they are from a mature plant so are ready to flower and will do so if they recieve less than 12 hrs of direct sunlight. Out side I don't expect too get a good high yield from them but it all adds up.
