hey guys

im havin a bit of an issue with the white fly

the nasty lill pricks seem to love me outdoor plants

but only me mullies dont really see em on others

so i was thinkin and was wonderin is there any natural defence

against these fukers??? like another plant that deters em??

cause im in flower and a foliar spray would break my heart

i can contain em threw vege with some pyrethium spray

but i dare not apply after 3 weeks of flower

i read a thread like this one on overgrow years back and if i remember correctly they were advised to mix garlic and chillie with water and mist that on your plants....i imagine it would work as most bugs hate those things, but im pretty sure you'd want that shit washed off before harvest

 

personally i think you should just find yourself a product that naturally brakes down into chemicals that are harmless to humans and other animals...i think maverik does that in 10 days or so, im not 100% as i dont have my bottle handy atm, but if you were to find a product like that you could wipe those fuckers out, give the plants a rinse or wait for some rain and make sure to harvest well after the breaking down period is over

Or maybe companion plant some basil, and also marigolds.

Trouble is white fly are sap-suckers so the best way to get rid of them is a systemic poison but you cant do that in flower ... the only other i can think of is if you had a natural predator that would kill the w/flys

 

hope you find remedy, its a hard one billo

marigolds, pyretheum, phacelia and are some general insect detterents

nasturtium is another which repels white fly- got nice flowers too

ive got these growing in my herb/vege garden with some success- theyre still there but not in masses!

i grew my ones from seeds bought at the supermarket (yates garden doctor range) but you should be able get some plants from the local garden centre.
