Well a friend of mine has givin me this Sex Change Plant Hormone stuff...

 

 

And i was wondering if anyone has herd or have used this stuff...???

 

Or if anyone knows if it actully works..???

The idea is that by exposing the embryo to sex hormones you can increase the number of seedlings in a particular batch that will turn female.

 

Apparently this does have some merit to it, but the reality of the plants genes are that these are set at pollination, and this is the fundamental factor that determines sex of plants.

 

Some strains can be stressed to produce hermies, some do it naturally, and you can even destroy male flowers on majority female hermies using some hormonal preparations, but the 99% factor that determines sex is the sexual fertilisation by the male plant.
