EC levels (warmer mths)

As it gets warmer I always lower my EC levels considerably as they take up the essentials much more readily in the hotter mths .I used to get a fair bit of nute burn when I would run my at about b2.4 in the summer I now reduce it to about 1.4 -1.6 and they love it.

hi mate i agree. ive always run mine at 2.0 minimum. usually 2.4

 

just finishing a grown where EC never exceeded 1.6. canna aqua.

 

actually last week its been at 1.3 ec

 

and im confident it is going to be a record for me. they look fantastic. no signs of any deficiencies at that lower level. on the contrary they actually look better. could also be the switch to canna aqua i guess as ive never used it before.... but i usually say that nutes are nutes imo

i dont do EC as i got a ppm tester but i always keep my ppm between 1700-1750ppm all the time and dont get no burn at all

i have left it to the ganja gods but have reduced the amount of nute

to add from 3mml pl to 1.5 just for safety sake

but still have me ph meter so 1 out of 2 cant hurt the plant to much hey
