Hey y'all, where would be a good place to order an air cooled hood?

 

Im looking at using a 400 watt mixed spectrum, any links?

Online you can find a few aussie hydro shops that do mail order. Most are fine afaik. Just compare prices and service and you should find something suitable for your needs.

hi mate grab yourself a cool tube. hollandforge has introduced them. ive set some up last week with 1000watt hps globes. i normally keep the lamps 60cm from top of canopy. with these beauties i can keep the 1000 watt hps globes 30cm from top of canopy and temperature peaks at 26 degrees.

 

they are available at holland forge retail outlets in vic. not sure online where to get them from. @ $120 for the cool tubes. and you will need a fan and duct aswell.

they work well! highly recommended

 

if your running 2 or more in a row, use an axial to push air in and a centrifugal to pull the air out. works a treat.

I was looking at a few canadian grows with these babys hooked up 6 in a row, although i only need 1 for a closet grow.

 

Got on their site and can't seem to find an outlet in queensland, i've sent them an email

 

How many plants under the 1000 watter? Scrog?

There is a cooling kit for an MK1 but that's not it

yeah i couldnt find the tubes on HAP site either. but if there selling em for $90 thats a great price. HF retails them for $120.

 

if your only using 1 cool tube in a close then a single 6 inch axial fan would suffice.

 

im really happy with em. ill post a pic of how ive set em up

yeah HF is in vic so i dont think they have distributor in qld.

 

u can get em from this guy on ebay for a bit more $
