mould tolerant strains

hi all.. i'm after info about mold tolerant strains.. where i grow, in the bush its usually quite wet at harvest time. lost a shitload of choice mixed indica buds last year. don't want to see that again. i was told that m60 is a good strain because it is very mold resistant. is this true.?. if not could someone point me in the right direction? thanks ...

why dont you do a seach on it?

m60 is at xpatseeds.com i think or try planet skunk.com . i would say they would be the best people to ask that question as they are the breeders and re-salers of the seed and they should be able to help with that sort of info>..

try for a 50/50 hybrid or a strain that leans more towards the sativa side of things as they have less dense buds that are much harder for mould to catch on with

g'day; if your location is wet and damp at harvest time then imo, it don't matter what strain you try you will get mould.....flowering plants need dry conditions not humid conditions.

A couple of strains that I have had that are resistant to getting mould are Super Skunk and Afgani , basicly any strain that elongates a little in the bud , the dense thick varietys like Rhino or Northern were always bad for getting mold over the last 2 weeks of flower .

think your looking for a hybrid something hardy, fast flowering, not too compact basicly a sativa with indica like flowering period.

 

 

I had the same problem with a late flowered plant last season, got too much rain and turned to mould.

 

trying having the plant fully vegged by end of Junuary so it will flower big in size as soon as the days get shorter hopefully finnishing before may.

 

If you know your going to have problems finnishing try some sort of spore killing product sprayed on weekly as a preventitive measure

 

 

W rhino by far is the worst for mould ive seen outdoors and indoors.

thanks for input guys. been growing my own strain of indica bush pot for years. bit of a lucky dip. if we get late summer rains, i'm fucked. same lucky dip every year.

been leaning towards kali mist. seems like the goods. has anyone had experience with it. write up on ps says its tough as nails. even in shit weather.
