carbon filters

hey guys

im gunna maybe get a carbon filter

dont no if ozone will cut it with black domina

any way a couple of questions for u

 

how long does the carbon last?? life span??

is it true that u can just put it out in the sun to clean and reactivate??

wat size would i need 4 a room 2m40 long 1m20 wide and 2m20 high??

do u need to run the fan and carbon 24 hr or can it come on via timer etc??

they are most effective mounted high in grow room??

The carbon should last 1-2 years depending on use

The smaller 150 x 500 will do the job nicely

24 hr is best though I've found the plant stinks more during lights out.

Yup hang it from the ceiling, don't use toggle hooks use cup hooks screwed into the beams (a stud finder makes them easy to locate)

what 420 has said is true it should last ya 1-2 years but depends on how much you grow and how much volume is going through it and you can have it on 24hr or set it up for 1/2hr every hour also works well from what i have heard.

 

also another option is to make your own im just about to put up a tute on building your own carbon filter it will be up today and mine is 1m long and cost me under $100 and can be thrown together in a day
