Hello all you ozstoners out there!!!

 

Just a quick question. Roughly how many plants would you be able to grow under a 1000 watter?

depends on your grow style could grow one and scrog it could fit over a hundred if you did a sog. if you don't know what these words mean just do a search on them.

It is easier to explain it in area , basicly that 1000 watt light with a large shade will provide you with enough light to cover a bit over a meter squared ( say 1300mm x1300mm to be comfortable )

now you just work out what type fo grow your gonna do , and work out how many plants in that system you will fit under the light

I personaly would advise you went with an option that involves less plant numbers but larger plants

now thats some dam good advise pure , grow less but bigger.

A 1,000w will cover 20 square feet using a horizontally mounted globe or a radius of 2 1/2 feet using a vertical globe, I would fit 8 -10 plants in that area, veg them till they are about to invade each others space and then flower.
