I'd like someone to tell me the strain if possible, or at least give me an idea (indica, sativa). I was thinking indica, because the leaves are quite broad, but it doesn't look dark enough. I was thinking maybe it's a hybrid. How healthy does is look? How much can I expect to get out of it if I get it to flower now? Does it need to be in a bigger pot?

That's just a desk lamp I had it under to photograph it, I use natural light.

A bigger pot would be good, the problem is that it'll be more noticeable in a bigger pot. I could plant it outside but there's a street light which might go on it, and maybe a passing car with headlights would stop it flowering. does anyone know if this is likely?

Thanks for the help

1st off welcome to ozstoners.

At this point they seem to be indica from the pic.

But a little hard to tell at such a young stage.

And when it comes naming the strain will be very hard to do unless you know were they come from.

Good luck with your grow and keep us updated on how ya plants are going...

That plant is quite a survivor actually. I germinated it in a glass, then put it into a pot of dirt. I realised the next day I planted it way too deep (~1 inch), so I dug it up and put it closer to the survace, and the root was showing.

After it grew an inch or so high I read up about growing some more, and realised that less than 3 inches of soil wasn't enough to grow in, and that I had to fill the pot up to the top (it was filled about half way before). So I unrooted it by turning it upside down, and in the process the stem actually snapped. The whole thing was balancing on a hinge that a breeze would break.

Despite that it still recovered, and is now getting too big for the pot.

Suprising how robust they are, now I just have to hope it doesn't get seen, and that it's a girl.

Hi justsomeguy, Welcome to OS

The last pic of the plant looks fine and healthy enough.

It's really helpful if you could include information for the readers about your grow. Include what you know and use (if any and you know).

Perhaps the info on;

1) age of the plant

2) Lighting used -

That's just a desk lamp I had it under to photograph it, I use natural light.

3) Strain of the plant

4) Nutrients (feed)

5) Medium - soil don't mean nothin to me.

6) ventalation

7) any plans of future changes you think may be necessacary (ie. lighting)

Anyway justa, The plant is health enough.

thanks for the welcomes, seems like a nice place here

1) age of the plant

not too sure on that myself actually, I think I planted it roughly 3 weeks ago

2) Lighting used -

the sun

3) Strain of the plant

no idea, I was hoping you guys could help me out there. I got the seed in a baggie. It wasn't great stuff, seemed to be indica, I'm hoping it just wasn't great because it wasn't sinse, not because of bad genes.

4) Nutrients (feed)

I use fertilized water by "Thrive"

5) Medium - soil don't mean nothin to me.

It's sandy soil

6) ventalation

it spends most of the time outside

7) any plans of future changes you think may be necessacary (ie. lighting)

it needs to be in a bigger pot/planted outside soon, but planting it somewhere outside where a) it won't be seen :peace: it gets lots of light and c) it won't be lit up at night is hard.

HTH :peace:

well from what i can see it looks indica but it looks like u may be watering abit too much cause it looks abit droopy i would cut it back abit how much do u water it???

also that pot will stunt its growth after awhile and u will get root bound i would suggest repotting soon into a larger pot i have grown in soil a few times and that pot just aint big enough

hope all goes well lad and welcome to the site

I couldnt take care of my plant any more, it was getting too risky and I had to get rid of it.. :peace: ^_- ;)

Nothing is worse than breaking off all the leaves, ripping up the leaves, snapping the stem, and then dumping your first plant which you've been nurturing for a month :peace: :peace:

here's the pic of a leaf and one half of the seed case taken just after I killed it

had to take something to remember it by, Im probably more saddened about this than I should be, it feels like a pet has died
