post-4855-1147156312_thumb.jpgpost-4855-1147156338_thumb.jpgHi there guys,

I bought my glass from a discount shop.... Discount Harry's....but many shops like Crazy Clarks sell them for $28 - $30

They are 150mm diameter and 550mm long.

I cut the end off mine with a diamond blade and then used 3 litre juice tins to mount with the glass tubes sitting inside.

The units are attached to aluminum u section with a polycarbonate tube I made in between. ( these where the prototype to the glass tubes but gegan discolouring.

I hope the pics give you some ideas

hey bro we should have posted some of our pms here to help some other peeps as well. anyways i reckon that might only handle a 600w? here's some design pics might help you out a little. i don't use fans on the endcaps i duct of air con or have a large inline fan/s but you can easily incorporate them into your design.

peace

c

yeah but not sure the bake arounds are big enuff for 1000 gaz dont qoute me on that though..

No wuckas S one more pic of mine and another i found a long time ago on the net so i can't credit the owner.....

When you buy the bulb holder you can get these screw in base plate type things, you just make something to screw em to inside the cap but obviously remembering airflow is important.
