Cacti strains and how to pick them

OK, I was bushwalking tosmorning and there are an absolute shit load of cacti where I live and I was wondering how to tell what type of cacti it is.

 

I will try getting some pics of them next time I go out. but atm im just looking for some info on figuring out if they are "usefull" or not.

go to google photo and type in peyote cactus then have a look and see if there are any of those around there are heaps more do some research type in psychoactive cactus into a search engin that should bring up a few
