does cutting clones 1-2 week in flower stress plant

Recommended Posts

highlife .... how many clones would you suggest to take off the plant its about 3 feet tall and its bushy also someone told me to take the the top where the crown comes from as it will bush right out and still get a good result is that true

Take what you need + 2 - 3 so if you stuff up you will have what you want. :applause:

As far as where you take your cuttings from it is generally accepted that you take cuts from any of the grow tips. These are already in grow mode and provide you with the mode yo want from a rooted clone. "crowns" I infered meant the main bud tips. :toke:

As has been said cuttings taken from plants over 2 weeks into flower take longer top root. The further into flower the longer it will take to root.

Goodluck with your cuttings highlife PS/ Have you cloned before ?

as nitram said you should always take a few extra than you need it better to have to many that none at all also when taking your cutting make sure you take them from the bottom of the plant never the top main heads or you just wasting it you wanna take the small ones from the bottom that would yeild hardly any bud that way u always getting the most out of your plants.

also make sure you have a good quality clone juice i would suggest clonex and some rock wool make sure you steralise all tools befor you start and its also good to put them under a fluro untill they get rooted

have a search on the site there is a really good step by step cloning guide on here

cheers
