when do your buds really start to get big

ok im doing a grow of bab and its going alot better then any i have done before its been in flower to 12 12 for 3 and a half weeks and the buds are preety good size now a mate of mine come over to look and said to me that bad ass berry is around 7 week strain the buds really start getting big and filling out around fifth week he reackons the will near double in size from what they are now just wondering what you people think as some time he talks a bit i should say alot of shit any help wouild be great thanks people

the bab does stretch a bit during flowering, but it wont double in size considering its already 3 weeks into 12/12

 

i think you'll get around 6-8 inches of stretch between now and harvest, but i bet its totally budded up

yeah budding up real nice my colas are roughly allready 5 to 6 inches long so if what you saying is right im looking forward to my end result should be ok i have 8 of them growinf there about 4 to 5 feet tall under a 1000 hps going well
