mexicana sativa or big bud

hi i was just wondering if anyone has grown any of these strains what results they got from them as in what yeild of how many plants and what the quality of smoke is like as that is the most important isnt it :smoke

To some degree yes, but it depends on your purpose you have in mind.

 

Mexican sativa plants are typically low in potency, but can make up for it in quality in some individual breeding lines. Big Bud is also a strain with a reputation for not being so potent, but once again, with some judicious line-breeding you could get a big bud which had good potency.

 

Selection of a strain is usually dependent on your stone preferences and the environment you plan to grow in. I certainly wouldn't grow a mexican sativa indoors, although it could be done, but big bud is a strain that has been used indoors over the years.

i did the mexican sativa , thought it was easy to grow , finished at 10 wks got 5 ounce of good bud off 1 soil grown plant , lovely smoke ....
