The only thing you should be doing before harvesting your plant is giving it fresh pH adjusted water for the final 7 days of flowering.

 

Then make sure you remember to dry them and CURE them for supreme smell, taste and quality.

Its impossible to fully flush plants that are sitting in soil especially if its been overfertilised previously, so soaking the roots in water after harvest might have some flushing benefit.

i just think the image of 2 stoned old hippies holding a 12 footer in the air, boiling its roots in honey water is absolute gold. definitely the strangest thing i've heard. why not use coke and give your buds an uplifting zing....not.

Ive tried the sugar thing but i couldnt see the piont of it, rather flush and so on. Each to our own though, try it and see if it works for you.

 

I do know people who do it with every harvest, my opinon, save the sugar for coffee and tea.

The craziest Product I have seen is that brix in a bottle stuff which is just mollasses and not much else , instructions say to get 500gms wet timmed weed and soak in brix ,, Ive heard od sugar sprayers and the tobacco industry uses sugars heavily for curing and???????? addictivness? who knows
