Do you add tobacco to your pot?

I have recently because I've been practicing rolling spliffs, just for the sake of knowing how. And, I guess it is fun to stretch the act of smoking out longer, even if you get the same high.

I cant vote yes or no cos it's both, I'm a Victorian and we mix down here, 1 gm to 2 ciggies (I do it greener when I'm by myself). I prefer green, I only ever vapourise green, my new weapon of choice... pic coming soon!! Oh and pipes / Budbombs are green of course.

But in summary from a Victorian:

 

*Bongs - mixed

*Vapouriser - green

*Pipe - green

*Joints - usually mixed with a little tobacco, otherwise doesnt burn properly! (I've noticed)

Moved to Vic at the tender young age of 18. Prior to this I had never even come across mixing. Found it very strange that every one down here without fail mixed tabaco with their green. I am a tabbaco smoker (roll your own) and have never realy liked smoking bongs but mixing tabbaco for bong smoking in IMHO makes that form of smoking even worse. If I find myself in that situation I will turn back an offered cone every time. Just can't handle it. Even after 31 years of living with Victorians.

 

On the other hand, I am as I said a roll your own tabbaco smoker and I do love a joint or 10. So I have developed the habit that when I am not working (and nowdays not having to drive anywhere on any particular day) every ciggy I roll is a joint.

 

Do I mix tabbaco with my green?

 

NO, I mix green with my tabbaco.

 

BUDMAN:- You are absolutely right. This poll does not have anywhere near enough voting options to acurately guage anything. I still thought I would throw in my 2 cents worth.(or should I say my 5 cents worth seeing as 2 cents has absolutely no worth today.)

started smoking MJ in nz where mixing is rare-never saw anyone mix until i was in brissy 5 years ago

i will always smoke green and have even turned down mixed cones during previous droughts and hardship

if i want a joint ill add a couple of popcorn buds to help it burn.......

and then try and smoke the whole thing

atm i have reduced the tobacco in me mixes down to 2 ciggies per 4grams

and i seem to get a whole lot stoneder quicker..

i sometimes just chop a bud on its pat

unfortunately the wife has dramas smoking unspun mull

she even has dramas with just the 2 ciggies

some strains imo need tobacco to assist in the overwhelming taste of the mull

 

i have a friend who spins his smoko out to the max

like 2 ciggies to a gram??? i say WTF to him

and he replys he cant smoke it otherwise??

 

for me tobacco in me mull aint a big issue

The ACCC has been on my tail for years Alcohol Cigarettes Coffee and Cannabis, have recently culled alcohol, the other dangerous addiction I need to cull is tobacco. I feel very concerned with smoking tobacco in a bong all that very deep inhalation, oh and please keep those bongs clean., I could go on for hours on the neccessity of bong cleanliness to not damage yer dear little lungs. I just plug a bit of green in the end of a rolly, surrupticious little trick from my 'suit' days.

Im from vic when i was 16-17 we use to put insane amounts of baccy with a G 2 cigis . Since i started smoking the last 2 years i like a bit of baccy but try to limit it abit as i dont smoke baccy anymore. Im weird i actually like a bit of rolling baccy chopped up with my mix now. I have mates that smoke chop chop so i pinch a bit of them every now and then. It saves the temptation of having a pack of cigis in the shed for mixes as it is to inviting when having a few drinks to have a cigi . I have been worried lately i smoke 3 times a week roughly and have been getting tobacy cravings at work when sitting with the smokers . I just like the taste with tobbaco but deep down know it is proberly doing serious damage.

Yeah, as a general rule I don't spin mine, but if there's a shortage and not much around I will. Just depends really.

Just wondering if many people here do this or not. From what I can see, (and thats only from reading) its a bit frowned upon in America, Amsterdam etc as it messes with the taste. I could see how it would, but personally I'd be coughing my guts up for ages afterwards if I didnt put about 25-30% tobacco with my smoke (I only smoke bongs).

How about you guys. If ya do, how much do you use?

why spoil a good smoke, tabbaco spoils the flavour.

i have tried a mix years ago, didn't like the sick feeling it gave me , I used to smoke cigs but never mixed, my friend mixes and to me it looked like he was smoking tabbaco not green
