g'day; when pruning plant, the only leaf that should be removed is,dead-leaf, yellow-leaf, diseased-leaf.

all other leaf is being used by the plant, it needs every green leaf it has, it will shed leaf when not required.

remove too much leaf and then the plant starts feeding off different part of itself causing lowering of THC % (maybe,only a guess).plant still consumes nutrients while it feeds of leaf. lol
