planting outdoors

hey stoners.i am about to plant my plants outdoors in the ground.i have found a perfect place i dug 4 holes they are about 2 foot wide and about 3 foot deep but i have ran into a problem its like half soil and half clay and it was that hard after digging 3foot down i had to stop its as hard as cement on the bottom.what can i do its the only place i can plant them where they will get good sun.any help would be good :devilred:

if its too clay like.. you can add gypsum to the soil, it breaks the clay down to usable soil.. well its supposed to, I use it on my compost, a few hand fulls of gypsum and lime helps the compost.. .. compost... usually though you would need to prepare the soil a few months in advance.... but should still work...also theres a fertilizer you can buy its called, trace elements... has everything in it, copper, zinc, boron, calcium.. well everything.. a scoop of that shit in the hole or sprinkled around the top would be good idea.. .you can get it at bunnings...

 

usually a hole 2foot squared is enough.....but the better the hole the bigger the plant.. I reckon.:thumbdown:
