Are my hermies ready for harvest?

Here are some pics of one of my hermies! Arggh. Anyway, just some questions.

 

1. Are they ready for harvest?

 

2. The heads seem small to me. Is that normal?

 

3. What is the ball like thingy....a seed pod?

It's pretty hard to tell, the photos are a bit blurry. How long have they been in 12/12?

 

See all the crystals? They are trichomes. When they are mostly amber it's time to flush (one to two weeks). The trichomes on your first pic look like they are ready in certain spots but a lot look realy white/clear, like i said it's hard to tell. There is a pic around here somewhere that shows when to harvest but i can't find it right now, i will later.

 

The big round thing is a seed.

 

It doesn't look like you got a lot so if the trichomes aren't mostly amber wait, they might put on a little beef.

Thanks for the feedback. Because it is a hermie I was wondering if you pull the plug a little early so the females flowers do not go to seed. I am worried the male flowers will spoil the females if I wait too long.
