can you identify this bug

It looks like a Lady Beetle. Particularly the Cycloneda munda or the Coleoptera Coccinellidae, they are the only two i can find with the pointed seam between the thorax and the wing carapice so far thought on futher investigation the Cycloneda munda is native to Minnesota and is spotless so there is strike one.

 

As far as i recall they eat aphids and mites so you might want to leave it in the grow room unless it is doing damage.
