Yes, all those trichs are active.  They all contain Mescaline and other alkaloids.  They're easy to grow, look great and are not hard to find.

Interesting... got more info, i.e. Climate/conditions for cultivation, species and shit?

I'd like to have my own cactus garden but I'm concerned my climate will not support them.

Trichocereus Pachanoi (san pedro) is most common and probably the hardiest, fastest growing of them all.

Trichocereus bridgesii Comes in to forms, regular and a monstrose veriety known commonly as "the penis plant".

These cacti will grow outdoor anywhere that gets frost less than once or twice a winter, they wont handle constant freeze/thaws.

They like sun and come out of winter domancy when daylight hours exceed around 11.5 12hours a day (they love HPS).

With the exception of the pachanoi, they don't like wet feet, rot is the most common serious problem in these and most cactus. A reasonably well drained sandy soil with added gravel suits them.

If you're going to grow them in pots you need the widest pots possible, they like to spread roots out just under the surface. Those long strip planter boxes that grandmas have outside their windows work well.

They are extreamly simple to grow from cuttings, just allow the wound to callus over for a few weeks and plant, if it's winter don't plant them till spring to avoid rot, just leave the cuttings in a cool dry place. I've had them sit on my garage bench for over six months in which time they produce pups up to six inches long and try to sink roots into the bench top. Cactus are amazingly tough.
