v dub
yo Toasty, any updates??? Still vapin'? Just a little tip: if going for a second toke, rip immediately rather than waiting a bit like on the 1st toke. The bowl is already hot and you get a better rip IMO. toasty
Hey v dub, Still vaping away. The Vriptech is great! Had one mishap however. (While very, very stoned) I was taking the vriptech out of the bong, and I knocked a metal ashtray with it, and put a big fracture through it It's not cracked or anything on the outside, but the glass inside has fractured :| Keeping my vriptech at home now, but it should be fine if I take care with it. I love it, great highs without the smoke. It's a tad cumbersome, but it'll be great when i've got my own place and a good setup for it to live in. I recommend it, my friends are all jealous. resinreaper
I love my Vrip.. But I am on my 3rd VCB unit (in about 18mo) as I am a clumsy bastard and have a glass coffee table. I also use the VCB to fill up oven bags 'Volcano style' and actually prefer using it like that than through a bong.
resinreaper
Everyone with the Vrip VCB needs to buy themselves a 16mm (this is the common large 'Bonza' size) glass downstem that that VCB just slides in and out of. They are available at Freewheelin for only like $5. http://www.freewheelin.com.au/parts/hard_g...tems_etc_01.htm (edit: hehe just read entire thread and see you've been given this advice already. soz )Here is a photo of my Agung ice bong w/glass downstem + Vriptech VCB. Just a testament to how good they are, I am going to get a spare soon, just incase i do break mine. Couldn't wait 2 weeks for another.

Yeh I guess Mark would love clusmy bastards like me.. hehe... but he'll be getting no more of my money! Yesterday I finally took the plunge and ordered a Volcano from Freewheelin after the latest price drop... it should be here later this week... can't wait Hmmmm I might sell my Vrip VCB + Makita heat gun set-up... and my AromaZap. Now that's more like it. Might have to consider picking up one of these myself in the next year, wonder if the rumours about a Volcano2 are true - prices may drop further hopefully... I've been drooling over this baby for 2-3 years now.Yay. Yes I have heard the rumours of the Volcano2 and I imagine prices will fall a bit for the V1 when V2 is released. Apparently the most significant improvement in V2 is digital temp setting and LCD read out... would be cool but not something I am too fused over.Besides, I've waited long enough already... hehe
pipeman
main thing I don't like about the heat guns is the noise. If there was a model that was a quiet I'd get it but until then the zap is still doing the job for me.
