Lophophora Williamsii on Pereskiopsis spathulata

 

I allways had a high rate of aborts when I grafted cacti, thats why I wanted to try to make it all from sterile material grown in plasticboxes. Most of the time one looses a grafting because of fungus infection even if you use a sterile scalpel. Thats why I nuked all the boxes before planting of seeds.

I have experimented wiuth a few types of grafting stock and have to say that for lophs periscopis has to be one of my favorite choices and whats best is that it is a nice an available plant that you can find in most decent nurseries

 

 

on a side note , I have some periscopis cuttings up for grabs at the moment because I'm moving , anyone interested in them let me know
