Stoned Driving in SA

just heard from a friend that within the last 2 weeks the SA parliament has approved the right for police to detain a driver and test for smoke-driving. Dont know any details except we're reputed to have an exemption for 6 months starting from last fortnight.

 

Any details would be nice...anyone know more?

yeah check out the news sections ausse news i belive i read a lot on it well everything i saw on here but it seemed like a lot but i live in the us and i think there are ways to fight it i knowthe first guy to get "caught" wasnt high was he anyone know if im right on this orr ami mixed up

I wonder how they'll be handling the actual smoke-test? Doesn't thc stay in the body for a length of time?

 

 

How are they able to differentiate when was the last time you actually smoked?? What if you smoked maybe 2 weeks ago and it's still in your system?

 

Some form of new technology perhaps?

from what i have heard they will be using a swab test which tells wether you have smoked either in the last two hours or eight. i don't know which time frame is correct?

I honestly think I drive better when I'm stoned. It's one of those learned things I guess they should do some more testing to see if the reverse isn't true (stoned drivers are more careful and take less chances due to their paranoia )

hey i was just wonderin what all the laws were down in SA because they always seem to be changing. isnt it somethin like 2 plants?
