Hey guys and girls, long time no see! I'll get to updating my other grows that have been abandoned for a few months but have since finished with varying success. Before starting another diary that will likely end in doom... I started a DWC about 6 weeks ago but have been battling water temps since the start and that has brought all kinds of problems with ranging from clear slime, brown slime, urine smells and stunted growth that it all caused. I have had to trim my roots back to near the bottom of the pot 3 times now to get rid of the mentioned slime. I've been running my grow tent for about 4 weeks now, 18-6 light cycle. I get home from work last Friday and my neighbour starts asking me if i've been having trouble tuning into AM radio stations in the last 3-4 weeks... Obviously I put 2 and 2 together pretty quickly and realised it must be something to do with the grow room... After a bit of trouble shooting, and online research (this forum and google) I came to the realisation that my ballast was giving off a shit load of interference that was blocking out all AM radio station signals within the vicinity. Hi guys first time post. Need some help with some clones i got off a mate. Anyone no if its going to be possible to swing them back around to veg stage? Not sure what he has done with them but theyv been under 24hour light for about 5 days now and i see no change only the leaves are starting to die of. Clones have rooted to bottom of rock wool. Any help will be much appreciated.

I was wondering what type of yields to expect from a small tent hydro setup that would include I guess 2 plants and how long it would take to turn over that sort of yield? Sorry if this is a massively noob question.

Hi all I am in the process on building a grow room it is 1.6 x 2.6 and 2.5 tall. I want to do two 1.2x1.2 scrogs starting of with one then getting the other next grow. The problem is I'm not sure what hydro set up to go with I am leaning towards 2 flood and drain tables filled with clay balls. Dwc sounds good but I am still unsure how to clean the buckets when it's under the scrog. Any feedback would be great. Thanks

Hi all Started to notice my bubble count dropping off on my dwc and some very light slime forming so I've decided its time for a new air pump and my question is how much air is too much? Current pump is double outlet both @ 2.5l/min. Looking at getting one of the electoemagnetic air pumps @ 20l/min. Would this be too much air for 2 10lt dwc res tanks if I split it between the 2?

The Claw! Anyone who has played around with hydro will probably run into this problem, but what the hell is it? and why do you see it linked with so many different problems to grows with seemingly no problems? If you think about a common cause for a case of the Claw eg high temps, what happens? Temperature at the root zone rises to a level that causes conductivity and ph to soar at the root zone to dangerous and sometimes fatal levels. That is it in a nut shell. I think this is probably a long shot, but im wondering if anyone has tried growing weed aquaponically? Aquaponics is sort of like hydroponics combined with aquaculture, where you grow fish and plants together and the fish produce fertiliser for the plants, and the plants eat up the fertiliser so the water is nice an clean for the fishies I think its really really interesting! I grew some pretty good strawberries and basil and lettuce and stuff this way before i moved recently, and im really keen to find out if weed can be grown this way.

Hi Guys, I will make this my grow thread because I will surely need alot of help. I'll try to keep it all in this thread with updates and questions. I'm planning my first grow with autoflowers so I can get in a harvest and start a 2nd proper grow after I have a stash to medicate with. I'm gathering up all materials, just ordered seeds last night 2x Blueberry Dutch Passion Fem Auto and 3x Auto Jack 47 Fem Auto. If I can get 1 small harvest from a couple Autos then it'll hold me over until I start a proper grow. I already received the 4 unit Autopot system with the 37L reservoir and 7 gallon buckets. This will be my watering system. I'm sure I'll need help from seed…

G day judge here So im getting ready for my next grow and have decided to give rdwc a whirl. I have my air pump already and brought some 51L tubs with lids yesterday. I am ready to start with the plumbing. So my main question is with the return pipes that are set at the bottem of the tubs that return the water to the reservoir. How large do the pipes need to be? I have 10meters of flexible 13mm black pipe but will that be to small, i am worried that it won't carry the water fast enough. Which comes to my second question, What size water pump and hose size should the recirculating pipe be? i was thinking something small but needs to be reliable. If i was pu…

So, im kind of in between grows, ie, dont have a place to set up, but am still fossicking around the web for tips and ideas. Now, have always been fascinated by the diverse range of colors well grown cannabis can produce, given the right conditions, but a recent titbit in a high times newsletter has prompted me to share with the community. This applies to hydro only, hence why its in this subby, and I intend on using this method asap. When flushing at the end of the grow, if you really want the colors to come out, chill your water. Its that easy, and an added benefit, the shock can cause increases in resin production. Just curious if anyone else here has tried this method…
