Cannabis Grow Rooms

Hey does anyone know where I can find a 150mm to 100mm duct reducer in Perth? I want a clean connection so I won't just cut up the 150mm ducting and reduce the end with tape. Needs to be a proper, good quality duct reducer. Everywhere I've been to only has 200mm to 150mm and up.

I was thinking of places I could grow, and I was thinking about the basement. No-one around here really goes down there, even if so they couldnt see it because its really dark in there even with a flashlight. The only problem is that my basement is not really that tall. maybe 3-4 feet? Would that be enough room? This is really my first time to grow. I was thinking of making a box, that way it wont be as noticable either. But anyways how much lighting should I have, how long should I keep the light on and off? Also about what the temperature should be? Right now I really just want to try to grow one plant. If you could help me out i would appreiciate it! thanks

hi I've had a bit of a stuff up with my panda film melted onto my 400w light its got a bit of burned plastic about the size of 20c piece, should i try to get it off or better to leave it? MADOGA

hey people, can I use MH light for flowering? will it help if I mix HPS light with MH light for flowering? I've recently added MH light addion to the HPS light in the flowering room and "supposely" female cutting have turn out male, while other cuting from the same mother stay female? is this because of the light I'm using? or just my mother plant is shit?!

Hi people I have a hurst light rail and the power cord that comes off the drive unit has 2 PROBE LIKE PRONGS. Its not a power chord its like to prongs its weird. i tried to plug it into a power point but almost elecacuted myself. I also tried to plug it into the light ballast but again its wont even nearly fir into it. I have enclosed pictures can anyone tell me how to power my light rail drive unit please help: cheers Mates jason

Hey, Currently I have planted seeds into 5 seperate pots, which is enclosed in a computer case I have at home. This is only a stealth grow for about 2 weeks, when I will be potting the seedlings that erupt and placing outdoors. I have two 60w light globes about 10cm above the pots bu I'm worried about the heat they are giving off and whether it will dry out the soil faster than normal. I have placed an 80mm fan at the front of the case sucking fresh air inside the case and another 80mm fan at the back of the case blowing air out at the same rate. Cheers EDIT- Crap at spelling

hey, this site has been extremely helpful to me - keep up the good work! i have a couple of questions about lights you might have to excuse my lack of knowledge about this stuff, i am going to get a 400watt setup (light/ballast/shade), i have noticed that you can get shades that have glass on the bottom of them and ducting coming off the sides for heat extraction do you reckon this is worth getting? or do you think just to get a normal one and use more fans in the chamber (the ones with heat extractors cost about $180 more than the setups without). i will be growing in a wardrobe that is about 7ft tall 6ft long and about 3.5ft deep also does anyone know if there is muc…

Just wondering what the benefits of running a 5Kw alternator in relation to costs would be? I'd like to run four 1000 watt HID's and have one Kw for extras. I am electricly iliterate when it comes to power generation but have often thought that it would be handy to be able to supply your own volts and not worry about the power company keeping tab on my usage. At the moment there is no problem because I'm drawing my power from an industrial complex but that might be coming to a halt soon so Im looking ahead at other avenues of power supply in a rural area without creating suspicion. The alternator would only run for 12 hours each day to supply power for a large SOG setup …

I got this light that is like a tube and it say "Cool White" on it....its about 3 feet long...will these kinda lights work and is it a flouro light that i have???

I've got about one square meter to grow in a room under my house and I was wondering what the best light to use would be. I'm thinking that a 600watt HPS will do, but I'm not sure. If I get a 1000watt HPS will it make a difference in growing time/yield or is it just a waste of power? Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanx one and all.

I was wondering if any of you experienced growers who have had plants on a 24hr day cycle could give me a little info.?? I have always had either a 16 or 18 hr. day cycle but have recently heard from an unrelieble source that a 24 hr cycle makes a big difference in the growth phase of a plant. Can anybody second this? I would think that a plant would need some sleeptime as well..... am i wrong?? thanks respect..
