I know it's not canna related. But people with a terminal illness that have wanted to end their suffering have faced similar persecution as us cannabis consumers for as long as i can remember. If your similar to myself and have witnessed a loved ones passing due a terminal illness, you'd know this is just as much as a hot topic as all things canna related. Good to see some common sense working it's way back into the system. Here's hoping the trend continues.. Source: www.news.com.au/couriermail

R.I.P. Rik Clay 1982-2008 My sincere sympathy to his family and friends. In a dramatic ending of a weird story. Rik Clay, a young amazing researcher into conspiracy, symbolism and synchromysticism (his blog was named The Cosmic Mind) apparently took his own life after an adrenal breakdown. (The source is the Icke forum, and his death is confirmed through a facebook group though there is no mention of suicide there, the story seems to be confirmed now - update.) After doing a must-hear Red Ice Creations interview http://www.redicecreations.com/radio/2008/...RICR-080612.php Rik's blog suddenly was deleted and he suffered an adrenal breakdown because of all the atten…

I ususally wouldn't post this on a pot site, however in this case humour is the only method of dealing with the story imho. I've included all follow up reports as well - this is BRILLIANT to read when you're stoned! And you're thinking I'm being insensitive about this, bwaaaahhhh! Have a cone, relax and LAUGH some! It's only when you read the follow-ups that the humour REALLY begins in earnest... Oh yeah, you might wanna know that this is running as TOP NEWS on both fairfax and news sites. Proles... Database will help nab interstate crims: Govt 12 January 12, 2009 ABC News http://www.abc.net.au/news/stories/2009/01/12/2463499.htm Officers on patrol will now be able to check up on offences committed anywhere in Australia. Offenders who try to hide their criminal histories by fleeing interstate are about to find it much harder. From today, police in New South Wales will be able to access the full criminal records of people while on patrol. Under the old computer system, officers could only check offences committed in NSW, and someone who may be fleeing a crime committed in another state could slip through the net. The Police Minister, Tony Kelly, says th…
