MEDICINAL CANNABIS WARNING / DISCLAIMER
There is no pharmacological free lunch in cannabis or any drug. Negative reactions can result. A small percentage of people have negative or allergic reactions to marijuana. Heart patients could have problems, even though cannabis generally relieves stress, dilates the arteries, and in general lowers the diastolic pressure. A small percentage of people get especially high heart rates and anxieties with cannabis. These persons should not use it. Some bronchial asthma sufferers benefit from cannabis; however, for others it may serve as an additional irritant.

Study: Many HIV Patients Use Pot for Mental Healt
San Mateo -- Results coming out of the medical marijuana research project at the San Mateo Medical Center are making waves in the scientific community. The first clinical trials, which ended in February, are still being analyzed. But psychologists were treated to some surprising data from an initial Medical Center survey of HIV patients at the American Psychiatric Association conference in May. The study indicated that more HIV patients smoked marijuana for mental rather than physical reasons. "We expected to see people smoking marijuana to alleviate nausea, pain and to increase their appetite -- all the reasons that are commonly cited," said Diane Prentiss, a researc…

General Blood Tests
i've been thinking about general bloodtests (other than for lawfull purposes or work related/drug tests) like general checkups etc and was wondering if not only cannabis but other drugs show up in these or are drugs something they have to specifically test for ? and if illicit drugs do show up in your bloodstream is your gp bound by law to maintain doctor/patient confidentiality or report it to the authorities?

where are all the hasheaters?
i don't see alot of info on injestion in this forum. i m a med user who suffers from severe chronic pain. i find that hashish injestion is one of the most effective pain management uses out there. i put about a 1/4 gram or less of hashish on a spoon with some olive oil, heat it up really good over a hot stove element and then cool it off and injest it orally. works for me. almost a narcotic like high. not paranoid at all. try it. http://www.bluegrasseeds.com/ubb/image_uploads/Dsc00110.jpg jrs

DEA's views on Medicinal MJ
Have a look at the useless DEA's "facts on medical MJ" DEA - "Medical" Marijuana - The Facts Marijuana Exposing the Myth of Smoked Medical Marijuana I am not surprised they didnt even bother to mention that other way for medical MJ users is consuming them orally.... it's fair a lot more healthier if you grew your own or know the grower and consume orally. It pisses me off at of anti-medical MJ groups are too foucsed on smoking the herb.... they are just using that as a excuse.... and maybe it's time for pro marijuana groups to start talking about other options like consuming marijuana orally and ask the anti-groups if there's any medical risks when consuming …
