There is no pharmacological free lunch in cannabis or any drug. Negative reactions can result. A small percentage of people have negative or allergic reactions to marijuana. Heart patients could have problems, even though cannabis generally relieves stress, dilates the arteries, and in general lowers the diastolic pressure. A small percentage of people get especially high heart rates and anxieties with cannabis. These persons should not use it. Some bronchial asthma sufferers benefit from cannabis; however, for others it may serve as an additional irritant.

  2. Tinnitus, ringing ears and headeaches

    Hey guys, I got tinnitus and it's getting really bad. Got nothing from doctors, they can't do anything for me. I've notice cannabis does help, are there any specific strains anyone is testing or using. It blows that we don't have medical cannabis. I got to mention, it's ok in public, but it's really painful in quiet places. It's constantly buzzing, whistling and popping. Cheers.

  3. Is that mould on my weed?

    Iv had this about a month and just noticed a fine brownish yellow dust forming all over which wasn't there when I got it. I know this because I separated it into portions in case any became contaminated with mould which has happened to me before (although I remember is to be white, fuzzy and smelly had to throw it all away :-(). The other portions are fine. This doesnt smell at all. WTF is it?? The photo shows the dust from where I tapped the bud on the plate. Not sure if it is easy to see on the bud in the pic. Has anyone seen this before?? Do you think it is safe to vape or should i flush it??

    Tony Bower is not a "criminal" On April 16th 2012, Tony will be fronting Court in Kempsey N.S.W. "What can I do" Tony would like as many people as possible to turn up at the Kempsey Courthouse to show their support for Medical Cannabis. Car Convoy will be leaving from the main street of Nimbin, approx. 10am. 15th April. Camping at Tonys place overnight, then on to the Court 9am. 16th. April.   7. Cannabis for anxiety & stress

    How good is cannabis as an anti-anxiety med? I suffer occassionally from anxiety/stress/insomnia from time to time and I hate it. Was prescribed Lexapro which stole my sex drive so went off it just as fast plus it never made me feel less anxious anyway. To be honest only things that have worked is something like Oxycodone or Ambien though these can't really be taken during the day even though they actually make me feel happy. How would you use cannabis if you were treating yourself for anxiety/stress etc? Cheers

  12. Discussion with doctor?

    Hi, I have Glaucoma induced from medications I have taken for years because of Leukaemia, and a Bone Marrow Transplant I had. I have had laser surgery on one eye to soften the eye and try to reduce the pressure in the eye as glaucoma treatment. And been on multiple drops and medication each day to try to reduce the pressures. I read on here about Tony Bower and his hopeful medicinal marijuana clinic, and brang up the question of Meidicinal THC and Hemp remedies to my eye specialist and was met with a quick 'I don't know anything about it' and change of subject, indicating he wasn't interested in listening to or discussing the idea.   14. doctor certificate/permission

    I have always had problem sleeping but it’s getting worse recently. I have seen my ex mother-in-law eventually taking about 8 different pills a day so I refuse to take sleeping pills. I know marijuana helps me sleep since I have tried it a few time before. I will see my GP very soon to ask for a doctor certificate/permission to use marijuana for medical purpose. Since I am new to this area, I have only seen him a few times. My GP is very nice and helpful but looks quite straight. Does anyone have any suggestion how I should go about it please?     3 years ago I had a really sore eye ache and went to doctors 3 times only to be told there was nothing wrong and that it was probably from too much sun and sand which I am guilty of as beach it a lot. Only went to doctors thinking I needed a referral to go to optometrist but then found out that I could just walk in a make an appointment. Went to optometrist and within minutes I was putting eye drops in and making arrangements to go to Perth. Eyedrops stopped working very quickly.
