   For the first time ever I have had to rely on others for seed.....it's amazing how bush rats can chew through plastic, my entire seed stock gone....not that it was that huge as I only grow for myself and family and friends. And due to the fact that I genuinely cannot afford to purchase stock from local seedbanks, let alone o/s companies, I have fallen on the mercy of JohhnyReeferSeed....after weeks of waiting while his stocks were replenished, I have received a positive reply and am in the process of figuring out how to get a donation to him.Has anyone here received seed from this kind soul and how long did it take? Also, does anyone know of any other like minded souls he…

   I've been growing for a fair bit of time, and have always had pretty good success germinating in a bowl full of cotton wool with another bowl upside down on top. But I wanna buy Super Silver Haze for $200 and I think that that way might be a bit primitive for seeds like them. How do pro's germinate seeds? should I get a heated tray, or some kind of aero system? cheers -wc

   The seeds you want to keep are seeds that seem to be in good condition. Roll the seed between your index finger and your thumb. If it doesn't crumble or crack then it should be viable. A more accurate method of checking a seed's condition is to look at it through a magnifying glass. Check for cracks or deformities and eliminate them from your seed bank. The seeds should not be cracked or damaged in anyway, and they shouldn't be deformed or misshapen; an overall, uniform shape is the desired condition.    I intend to collect a seed stash in case anything happens to the mother, this wont be for a few months but I might as well put some know how together so Im ready when the time comes. I know how to collect male pollen then save it in a black film container with some microwaved rice to keep out the moisture. When the females are ready, whats the method of spreading the pollen so that all the buds are fertilized without wasting to much pollen. PS. Im allergic to bees so dont even think about it

   Germination and rockwool 1 2

   My seeds have germinated fine. Roots are out of the shells. I have small rockwool cubes ready. My question is what do I do next. Do the seeds get placed into the rockwool with the root facing down. Do they then get placed into a tray with some water and sprayed daily. Do they need a humidity tent? Any information would be great. Thanks guys.

    Hi people, I have a few seed strains that interest me the only problem I have is that I need as much information as possible the seed strains are as follows Critical Mass Great white shark Skywalker Mind you I chose them 3 to do abit of a fact finding search on from about 30 other seed strains so its taken me abit of time to get to this point, I only need one strain at the moment so I would like to no if anyone has any websites or anything that can help me choose?     I have spoken at times on these boards of a club that operates from Canada that is called the SSC. The Seed Swap Club. Being a member there, I examined the possibilty of creating our own version of the club here in Australia, to circumvent customs for one thing to start with. I hadn't visited the site for some time, but after some members here expressing interest in joining the said club, I todled along to see how it was going. I'm unhappy to anounce that all is not well in the SSC. In fear of spreading rumors, on unfounded reasons I have heard for them closing; it is suffice to say that the site is closed for an unforseable legth of time. I'm reluctant to say it…

    Spc have many fine varieties of both seed and clone,I personally have reddevil,afghani,sweettooth,whiterhino,indica,skunk hen,headstone,very berry Stonedas has the best!
