Hi there everyone, Got some clones rooting and Im wondering what size pots to put them in when they start showing roots? Will be using about 50/50 potting mix/perlite. Grow footprint is 45cm x 85cm, hoping to fit in 4 plants. Is it true that mj needs height of pots more than width? Your advice will be appreciated

Hi, Just been to 3 different hydro shops in western melbourne and each has told me that superbud in no longer available wholesale. The word is that they wont reveal whats in it. I also noticed there web site has no info on the product any more. A futher note is that some NEEM based products are gonna be taken off shelves. So looks like the oz goverment are looking more closely about what the hydro companies are selling. I guess thats a good thing as i wanna know wtf i'm smoking! The Neem thing is a bit sus but.

I've noticed that after I've watered, with nutrients added to my water, the water that drains into the overflow buckets has a green film on the top of it. I always clean the buckets with hot water before re-use, can anyone tell me what this is, and if it may be harmful. thanks

I'm not having a lot of luck on my first grow so far. I'm sure it'll get better as I learn, but if there are any soil growers out there that have had success with an easy to do mix I would like to copy it. By easy to do I mean all the incrediants available for purchase from hardware/nurseries. I don't compost or collect manure or anything like that. So if there is anyone out there that can share the exact ingredients and nutrients they have used for a successful soil grow this newbie soil grower would be very appreciative.

Ok well unluckily my first grow I get 2 males from 2 plants  I have 3 seedlings though about 2 weeks old. I'm getting ready to translplant them from the little cups I have em in now. I don't want the same shit I got on my first grow so I got a couple of questions. 1. If I let the males keep growing (might as well not waste em and get some seeds out of it) will they affect the seedlings at all? 2. What are some ways of increasing the percent of females when growing? List some specific nutes if possible. I'm growing in soil and obviously the nutes I used first time didn't work too well  3. Don't know if this is true but I "heard" that when you tran…

G'day, I'm confused as to how often I should fertilize my plants. Do nutrients (Canna) dissolve after a while or are all the elements still present in the reservoir? Should I only be adding nutrients when I add more water? Whats the go? dwyndorf

Or should I start on the Canna straight away? Thanks

Anyone else see this ABC documentary. I had to do a search on it. A remarkable way of maintaing soils with the aid of charcoal has been rediscovered and is believed to be the secret behind an ancient Amazonian civilisation which thrived until New World diseases were introduced and ravaged the population.
