ok, had a thought, and no, it didnt hurt.... but it might when I have to buy the materials the plan.... Take this wardrobe (1300wx450dx1800h) -line all compartments with Panda -mount my flouro's (currently unused 38wx3ft and 18wx2ft) in the top compartment (1300wx450dx300h) for clones. -a 130w or 220w 2700k cfl in each side compartment, with a single plant in DWC pots under each, separate resi's for staggered flower. -cut some light and air holes between the centre compartment and the side ones, then use it for flipping unsexed clones. -a single 6" crossflow fan system for the three bloom sections. -take out the bottom two drawers and sit the resi's in the space under…

Hi peeps, I have been doing some research on materials for use in my grow room biuld. I am somewhat aware of "sarking" (isulation use in housing) whichis 97% reflective amd os traded under the name of "silver under roof" by bunnings and also as "ermofoil™ Medium Duty Sarking Foil" & "Silver Ceil " I have opted for flat white paint but thoght that a very super reflective surface would do a better job. So what us the reason sfor not using this silver sarking material. The only thjing 2 I seem to find & possibly think of is that while it is water resistant it is 'permiable to gases' and the like which would not be good for the smell that comes along at t…

I'm ready to spend $2,000 to $3,000 on a grow room. i want the best for the best bud. I prefer not to buy a tent, but have my grow room in my basement apartment in one of my bedrooms. My concern is security. I will purchase carbon filters for the strong smell and will by a special mylar material which is a infrared blocker called "C3 anti detection film" to eliminate infrared signs of heat in my house(used by the cops) My other problem is plant production. already i'm considering a co2 generator, (de)humidifiers, exhuast fans,, ph sclae, carbon filters, soil, pots, all the items nessesray to grow the best buds possible, only thing is i dont know too much on how to se…

Hi all, I am looking to purchase an exhaust fan. I really need the quietest centrafugal exhaust fan going a a reasonable price. I don't mind paying up too $250 - $300 for one that will exchane air in a reasonable volume. My other requirement is that I have an inline fan speed controller. I am able to wire this into the fans power access so it dwose not need to be biult into the unit and prefer if it was not in biult. I have not constructed my room yet but I am in the planning phase. From past memory when looking into this issue I recall calculating the volume of air to be moved I would at minimum require a 200 - 250mm centrafugal. Can anyone provide me info…

ok well if your a regular on here you knew this was a long time coming and took lots of deliberation to get to this point. here is my cupboard and the equipment i would like to use for this. as you can see the back needs to be replaced so im thinking of maybe extending it to create more room and make a door that opens at the back and seal the front from opening, not 100 percent sure yet tho. it is 4 feet 7 inches tall, a foot and 10 and a quarter inches wide, and 1 foot deep. kinda small but will make due till i can get money from not having to buy weed anymore to get a better set up. i have one 400w hps, one 55wcfl and am planning to buy 2 fans and a carbon filter. wa…

Was thinking of using a small tin shed to grow in. I would use good insulation and venting but am thinking i could further cool by utilising the temperature difference between the ground and air. The ground is substantially cooler than the air during the day, It may be possible to cool intake air by running a length of piping (not sure what, maybe convoluted plastic) approximately 150cm diam about 50cm to 1metre under ground. If there is sufficient residence time in the tubing temperatures should drop. Possible plan could be to: Lay tubing under ground beneath where the shed is to be situated. Maybe 5 metres length Inlet side coming up from ground hidden in garde…

I'm wondering if anyone has any wisdom on sealing doors on cupboards? It needs to stop both light and smell from escaping. I was wondering if any one uses this stuff called "weather seal" from bunnings. Would that stuff do the job or is there something better to get? Cheers!!

My latest project is digging an underground area under the concrete floor of my 2 car garage. Ok before anyone starts yelling cave in, I've done a ton of research and as long as I keep 4feet (1 1/3 meter) below the floor, there should be no trouble. I plan to put in a few load bearing walls as well as a ventilation pipe or 3. I'm starting with a storm shelter/pantry/root cellar and then adding 2 grow rooms. The soil I remove will be spread out in my yard and I plan to add culvert and fill in the drainage ditches along one side of my house. I have room for most of the soil I remove. Some of it will be mixed with sand and cement to mud the walls so that they can be painte…
