Gday all, i,ll be starting my first grow very soon, as soon as i have everything setup and i have a few questions. I,m sure youve prob heard em all but for so be patient with me!! Firstly, ive decided to use the GH nutrients, flora micro and flora bloom only, according to the lucas technique, any advice for or against there? i have setup up a fairly simple bubbleponic type system, have a 600W hps light, grow tent and fans etc. at the moment i,m just waiting for seeds, which brings me to my next question, ive ordered them to be sent to my address, how worried should i be that this was a stupid move? And last question for now, i,m sure i,ll have a few more coming, s there a…

Super Cropping 1 2

Hey guy's this is how I super crop, at present I am achieving good yields through multiple tipping. Before I take clones the tips are removed from the selected limbs, given a time to get new growth and then cloned. This way I have a double when it roots and is placed in the net pot. As soon as it gets going it is tipped, give it a week or so and tip all x4, 1 week or so later tip again x8. I will keep doing this until there is 40 odd, also cut back any growth that is to tall. This can go on for 6 weeks until they are around 600mm tall & bushy with good root mass. Then they go under the 1000 watter. Only trouble the vegging takes longer, 8-10 weeks would yield shit l…

Hello my fellow Greeners! I was having a thunk regarding covert indoor growing. Burying a sea container in the back paddock, which would probably attract attention unless you had the machinery to do it yourself (not such a stupid idea if you have the land and machinery to do it). But one idea that could be doable is having a dummy 5000 gallon water tank outside next to the house set up as a grow space. Of course it would need to be insulated and probably still need to be cooled in summer, and there would need to be a sneaky access panel cut in, but I think it could work. Is this the oldest trick in the book (you can grow a lot of pot in a save like that), or have I just …

Hi Guys, I"m in the process of getting my feet wet so to speak and was toying with idea of using an LED light for the grow. I'm just going to be using a grow tent and thought that this light would be ok: http://www.prosourceworldwide.com/Illuminator-180W-UFO-LED-Grow-Lights-p/illuminator%20jumbo%20ufo%20180w.htm Whilst it's a bit pricey compared to the other types of lights, I don't mind shelling out a bit extra for the longevity of the LED Excuse the noob however please I'm just looking for some opinions. Thx

Have just swapped 2 1000 lamp's for 2 600's, using the 1000w ballasts. Has anybody done this? Tried it before with no problems. Apparently they don't pump out 1000w, you can draw up to 1000w from them. What do you all think about it. Cheer's P8.

This article was originally written by OG member Oldtimer1. Part 1 MAKING, MAINTAINING, AND RENOVATING BONSAI MOMS This Article was originally published at overgrow.com 27/6/2000. Revised and archived 20/10/03 by Oldtimer1. Now we will deal with every aspect of the care and maintenance of Mums including root and branch pruning as well as the renovation on an old mother well past her sell by date. "Tired of huge unwieldy mothers that take up too much space? As I've shown before, a fully established bonsai mum only takes 8 inches x 8 inches." This bonsai mother, if well fed, produce 10 to 30 good cuttings every 14 days under an HID or every 20 days under fluorescent…

Hey Crew, So i decided to be a little more active on here , to give you an update, I am into week 1 of flower my babies , all six are 100% healthy after some near misses with draining problems, and roots exposed through the mesh into the nutrient retention . Anyways this grow is coming along well and I will be posting some images up shortly to show the room build etc, very very happy with the outcome, we have them just under 5 feet now, hoping to hit 6 61/2 feet by completion . So this brings me onto my next build, how do I make the sea of green model work with 8 to 10 plants, what are the key differences?Id like to be able to grow bigger trees and yield more, is it …
