Hi everyone, I'm looking for some clarification on flowering times. If a strain description says flowering time of 9 - 10 weeks is this from when flowering is induced or from when buds become apparent please? I have some SSS Bubblefucks that I thought wouldn't be ready for another 2 weeks or so but most pistils are brown and they are starting to foxtail significantly so I'm wondering whether they could be mature enough to harvest now.

hey everyone just wondering if anyone here uses a water chiller in there system over summer im thinking of trying to run hydroton / clayballs and need to try keep the root zone cool for a few months. are they expensive? is there any other way to keep the roots cool?

Hi stoners, I got a plant from a friend and it is on my balcony for about 2 months, in a pot with soil, no lights, just sun. It has grown to about 50cm and it looks very healthy. Also, I have been reading about growing and I understand this is far from ideal. Also, I have no expectations with a simple setup like this. However, it would be nice to be able at least one joint homegrown. Is there any chance it will put some buds off? Cheers,

Has anyone had this happen? Since i am new to the game (2 and a bit years and only about 20 plants into my gardening career) it's never happened but a few weeks ago one of my girls, an auto (Dr Feelgood) was ready to harvest then overnight i noticed all these new pistils appearing..so i decided to leave it for another week..flushed her and within 3 days all the bud sites started to swell again! 2 weeks on and the tops have all doubled in size! This strain has been weird for an auto casue it stopped flowering for a few weeks (started flowering right on day 18) and then resumed flowering in a short time frame and caught up on the days that she wasnt flowering. Hello every one was looking at some different pots to use for hydro ....want to get different pots then what I have I use the cheap black ones from bunnings ........... hey guys, my seedlings have been going for nearly 2 weeks now, they all look nice bright green and very happy, but i have one skunk that i have put in, the seed was about a year old and whilst the seedling was starting to pop out of the ground it appeared to have either 3 water leaves and i thought it looked odd so i just left if be to see if it would change but the plant hasn't changed at all really its growing its first set of leaves and its growing in a group of 3 instead of the regular 2, any reasons as to why this could be happening or if its a good or a bad thing, i've just never seen it before even though this is only my 2nd season.. 3 leafed clover = lucky 3 lea…

Has anyone else seen a bud (bout the size of a cone) grow right in the middle of a shade leaf. Seen I about 4 years ago when an exs brother was growing Durban I totally spun out, then I was talking to a mate couple weeks ago and mentioned what I've seen. He then told me his last crop he pulled had exactly the same sort of mutation on one shade leaf, funny enough he was growing Durban and another strain we not sure what strain it come from. Haze

Hi all!! I got a nice little plant from a mate who grows hydro. He gave me one that was cloning under a light 24hrs a day. I took it and planted it outside in a nice sunny spot on Fathers Day and it's budding like crazy!! It's only about a foot and half tall. I tied it down and it's got nice stems growing up from about 10 different points so I'd like to keep growing it if I can til next Mothers Day. Once it's flowered, will it revert back to just growing again? I'm guessing I confused it by taking it from constant light to day/night. I'm pretty sure it's an indica if that helps. All advice is gratefully accepted. Cheers!!

Hey guys, this is my second outdoor growing season in soil so far yet, im from down in victoria so it is still pretty cool at the moment but warming up slowly. i have 8 seedlings going at the moment, some skunks and other strains given to me for mine, but i have 4 of this new strain i have never tried growing before, and one of the seedlings has only been sprouted for a day or two and is showing signs of a dark purple sort of colour on the first set of leaves, does anybody know why this could be ?
