Hey! Thinkking about making some brownies, I know making the cann butter takes more than a day well close to it.. having to wait for the butter to become buttery. I have just done some reading (Google) and came across a recipe of some dude making some brownies out of a pre made mix from the supermarket. What he had done was use the amount of oil the instructions had said than put the oil in a saucepen started to heat and added some shake. he said it only took around 5-7 minutes and than let it cooled and chucked it in woth the rest of the ingrediants. What I want to know isIf there is enough time for the THC to mingle with the oil? Has anyone tryed this? the recipe stated…

So I've only ever made brownies twice before, both with thc oil. Budder looks like it'd be easier to make, plus i have an awesome recipe for brownies that requires butter, not oil, but i could use oil anyway. I've heard that oil makes it more potent, but is that just a load of shit? So which does everyone prefer?

Managed to waste 2 oz of very crystally ppp trim.... fell asleep with the butter simmering on the stove and evaporated off all the water buffer... woke to the smell of crispy fried weed and burnt butter. The reason I didn't use the slow cooker was because the slow cooker was full of light olive oil and 3 oz of seedless, sativa bushbud. Anyone got a recipe for incredibly burnt butter?

Hey all. Here's one for you vapers out there: Have heard different opinions on using vaped leftovers for cannabutter, so I thought I'd give it a try to see what's what. Made cannabutter the usual way - rolling boil with a stick of butter, strain, cool, etc. Anyway, it works. I mixed an oz of vaped leftovers (ie: the weed was an oz before vaping - I didn't weigh the leftovers) with a stick of butter. I tend to vape the heck out of my gear, so this was on-the-verge-of-burned stuff. I have some mild but pleasant cannabutter as a result. Very mellow and sedated stone. Just my two bob's worth. My preferred method of cannabis delivery is joint, but on those cold winter weekends, consuming cannabis in food or drink is a treat. I never bother making butter; too time consuming, easy to burn, seperates into milk solids and fats..... First thing to note is: Cooking is Science. THC dissolves in fats/oils and alcohol. It doesn't dissolve in water. Second thing is that dried bud and fresh bud BOTH work when combined with fat or alcohol, but fresh bud may need a longer time to infuse. About: Butterscotch sauce on madeira cake. Preparation: 10 Minutes - served hot. Ingredients: 1 Madeira cake. 125g Canna butter. 150g Soft brown suger. 125ml Double whipped cream. Method: Remove the bottom half of the madeira cake and place the top part, cut into 4"x4" squares, in a moderate oven for 5-10 minutes. Combine the butter, sugar and cream in a small saucepan with gentle heat until melted. Remove mads from the oven and place each piece on saucers then slowly pour your melted sticky over each piece.
