which one do you think I should use as my mum?

Hey,my first question is has anyone had success growing without C02 when air temps are as high as 32 degrees celsius but the res/nutes temp is kept at a constant 22 degrees.......Cause thats what afoaf has and everything appears fine............. SEcondly,this weird thing is happening with GH 3 PART ,after filling a 50 litre res with nutes a ppm of 1200 is got,but checked an hour later and its down to 800 and the pump hasnt even been switched on..WTF...any ideas ?????

Hey all as u have seen in other posts i am in the process of my first grow...... 22 seedlings under a 400watt HPS. I plan on ending up with about 4or5. Anywase what kinda fertilizer should i be using? i am going for sompthing reasonably priced and easy to get preferably Big-w :-D just down the road. When shoudl i start applying? If u dont know which brand to use what nbumbers should i be looking for on the box?

Hi all, I've just finished reading a book called 'Pot Planet', not a bad read at all. However, when the author hits Australia, he claims that the best weed is found in Nimbin. Which always seems to be the case when reading about Australia's pot scene. But ive been smoking for a few years too many now, and in my opinion the best weed is coming out of South Australia, presumably Adelaide. Ive been smoking produce thats travelled the "Northern route" for some time now. (all indoor), and every batch blows me away. i have one plant 5 weeks old,grown from seed and is now 8inches tall, i hope its a female.Just like to know when to top or prune, during the veg or the flowering stage,and at what height should the mj. be.Will this also increase the yield? Your advice appreciated.

A while back I asked a guy about a nute meter, and he sold me a TDScan4. I've just started to use it now and it measures in mS, whatever that is, the instructions give no explanation. The range is noted from 0 to 19.90. My tap water comes out at 0.5mS and half strength Canna nute mix is coming out at 1.6mS. The instructions on the Canna bottle say to aim for between 1.8 & 2.7mS. This is fine, except most of the literature around talks in ppm, not mS. Does anyone know how they relate to each other?

I have a pump that does 38L/m and at the moment it is only bubbling one 20L bucket. Originally I crimped the spare output lines and the water was bubbling really violently, and I thought this may damage the roots, so I left an outlet blowing free which results in less bubbles in the bucket. The pic below shows the bubbles produced in each situation. Am I right to worry about bubbling too violently when my pump is only powering one or two buckets or am I worrying about nothing?

Hello oz growers I've just begun the process of sorting out what I need for my dwc grow... check out the attached image on how I am planning to set it up. It's VERY simple, but that's because there's not a greal deal to consider on such a small system... I do want to get it perfect however. I'll be using 5 gal (roughly 19L) buckets with 6" net pots... a typical setup really. The aim here is to grow 4 - 5 foot tall plants, I think these buckets should provide a great space for roots. As far as yield goes ... well, that's not really important to me, for a first grow I think I'd simply be happy for the plants to not die in the ass on me! Hmm what else? I'm still decid…

my clones have been in my "aero" cloner for about a week now, and only one of them has sprouted some roots. some have started to wilt, and I'm giving them tough love at this stage, hoping that no misting will make them root faster. anyway, what I am most concerned about is some sort of growth/buildup thats appearing on the lower stems. On some stems its white, on others it green. Somehow I think its not root bumps. below is a pic. Do I have a problem here?
