General Cultivation Q&A

just let me say long time lurker and this should have been my first post..don't know about the others. Sorry for the hassles but any info will be greatly appreciated. My sister and I are wanting to grow a plant outside (first grow) and was just hoping for info and tips on things such as a good beginners strain and who you would personally recommend to order seeds from etc. Also, I was wondering if there's a FAQ or something similar for an outdoor grow, or would it not differ much from an indoor one? Just for things like nutrients and stuff like that. Again sorry for the noobiness and all help is appreciated.

do tha mum plants need 2 rest after they been cloned or can go strait 12/12??

Hello Peeps Been a while! I been waiting for plants to reveg to get some half decent clones to start all over again to overcome probs with bugs 'n shit... Also, changed room setup to make it easier to get to all sides of plants etc. Got just under 30 Ozzies on last grow off 3 sickly ladies... made wicked 'sreen-hash' out of the left over bud 'n leaf...Mmmm. So i got 2 litle bushy plants, about 15cm in height or so bout 6 weeks old. They have alot of bushy leaves and some are bigger than palm of my hand........Am i ment 2 prune the botton of the plant??? the second branches off the stem are fairly thick am i ment 2 just cutem off and clone em? cheers for tha help 1st time dun wanna killem already hehehe. hey people i have about 40 seeds sprouted a week ago under a 400w. i sprouted the plants under a 12/12 cycle, because if i had them under 18/6 when i put them outdoors they would start to flower wouldnt they? btw i live down in victoria. the plan is to put 5 or so sprouted seeds outdoor, take 20 or so clones (in a few weeks), when they have rooted put 10 of thoes clones outdoors and keep the rest indoor under lights.

Hi m8s, Was tossing up between planting in ground or pots and have pretty much decided to go for the pots as I can move them around according to sun positions and if they have to be moved in case of visitors etc. Was wondering what size should the final pot be? I read somewhere that 7.5 gallon was the ideal for indoor but not sure if the same goes for outdoors as well. Cheers

Having just harvested the Serious Seeds Chronic i realized i didnt have any clones to continue growing the strain so i pulled the scraps out of the rubbish bin and have propagated some of the lower buds that were of little interest. Once again, true to form, this is a slap happy job as i have some seeds as a back up, but to work from a known female and good performer saves a lot of time. ..

stoners .. i'm thinking about trimming the roots in the dwc pot ... in order to cope with the summer root zone temps . should i ? could i ? would ya ? i know they don't mind a trim in the soil but .. water ? any input would be great cheers ev
