Hey all.. Anyone have experience with silver thiosulphate treatment of mullies for feminizing same. I have tried unsuccessfully several times to mix the ingredients as per advised. to no avail. the end product has black sediment suspended in the bottom of the solution and it don't work. I have precisely followed the directions. Silver nitrate is to expensive to keep going like this. Any help with this from someone in the know would be unreal.. Thanx....Cheers...b.b.

I had two large pots 2/3 full of clay balls and didn;t want to spend more $ on another bag, so i filled the remainder with a perlite/vermiculite mix I had layin around. Drains got blocked by heaps of sludge (from the vermiculite). Am I best off picking the clay balls out of the mix and discarding the perlite/vermiculite (whole mix is in the bath now, and vermiculite seems to disintegrate with any pressure), or does it just need a good rinse? This has really pissed me off , time for a few

Hi All It's been a while since my last post so here is a progress report using the Autopot system and HPS / LED combo. The plants are looking good should be ready in a few days. I'm going for the trippy high rather than the body stone and a sample shows it about there. Total flowering time so far is 4 weeks - Seeds sprouted Jan 4. My next lot will be kept smaller as the clones are all female and will be grown as SOG. Strain is a Jack Frost x Northen lights Questions, comments welcome! So its been 10 days and no roots out the bottom yet. The clones leaves are starting to yellow at the bottom, and 1 clone had some powdery mildew on it. I took off the humidity dome and thats all i know to do at this point. Is there a problem here? Should i get the humidity dome off and start treating these like real plants yet? thanks again for all the help...next time will hopefully go smoother! ah crap. i made a bunch of extra clones with hopes of even half surviving, but i pulled one up from the rockwool tonight to see if it was rooting, and holy hell, it doesn't have any roots. wtf!!! I dont know what to do at this point, i guess just sit tight and wait? shouldn'…

Gday guys, an outdoor plant has started flowering about 2-3 weeks ago and the white hairs on some of the buds are already starting to turn brown? I thought that when they brown it is time to pick them? and i thought it took 6-8weeks for this to happen? i have sprinked ash from the fire place around the base a couple of times the buds are still small/skinny and so i dont want to harvest yet also, will the plant be affected if i was to cut a few of the budding stems off? Any help greatly appreciated!

Yeah this thing is very BADASS but, i think that with alittle ingenuity I'm pretty damn sure someone could build this system just as disgustingly amazing as it is or probably even better....here are a couple links to the websites* where this thing can be found and im tryin to see if any of the othere stoneres on here could give me some tipson how to duplicate this grow box...suxh ass blueprints, ideas, sketchs, etc...just about any damn thing anyone can offere to help fabricate one of these bad boys rather than wait like 5 yrs and just buy it outright? i know the mombers of ozstoners and myself if we put our heads togethere would be aBLE TO BUILD THIS BOX 10XS BETTER…

Ok, so I've been growing dope for many years, and been doing it in hydro since 1997...but I'm still pretty much a "grow by numbers" kinda bloke when it comes to hydro. You know, mix this, flush that, bla bla...but the finer points are something that's eluded me, perhaps because I baulked at some of the text books I have looked into (some use words with more than seven letters in them!!), and maybe because my first love for growing anything is in organic, very bioactive soil. And somehwere deep in my physce, I believe I will return to my first love...oohh..ahhh... Whatever the reason, I've been perplxed and subsequently asked many people, many times why the PH goes mad, …

G'day fellas and felleses. To start the ball rolling, I am in FNQ and I'm relatively inexperienced with growing pot (quite experienced with general gardening though) and I have got about 70 seedlings which need to be transplanted outdoors, ultimately into soil in a number of days. I have the patch prepared VERY nicely but what I'm wondering is this: My mate saw my seedlings and said quite matter-of-factly to bury them deep in the ground, so there's not so much stem showing (in some cases, several centimetres deeper than the natural level of the soil) to make them shorter/sturdier seedlings. It seems like a good idea on the surface, but it goes against my traditional ga…
