Hi All, is it better to start flushing half way between the flowers going brown or when they green bits start going milky. I didn't realise how behind the times I am. Cheers Gills

I ended up buying these nutes on the recommendation of festive hydro Adelaide and they rekon its the ducks nuts for hydro including growing in coco which i am. I have the nutes already but am still just using canna coco a+b. I wouldn't mind a second opinion to see if there is anything missing or anticipated problems using this program with coco. cheers RR

Hello again peoples, Im wondering if anyone has any experience with using Scotts Osmocote multi purpose potting mix? ( with perlite of course) A friend is thinking of using some but isent sure if its the way to go because it has "controlled release plant food" and says theres no need to feed for upto 4 months..but it doesent say which nutes are actually in there,so hes confused on when n if he should feed his girls. What kind of soil do other soil growers prefare to use? someting with food already in there or an organic nute free soil mix? The reason i ask is because he reckons it would be easier to know when to feed and what to feed when needed without the fea…

Mother of all blooms? This is supposed to be a very strong but cheaper budding formula, like Big Bud - but as i said, cheaper! Anyone had experience using this? If so, did you like?

Me and my brother have had a couple of plants outside for roughly 6mths, one is more indica, short and dark green and the other is more sativa, tall and light green. The sativa started to get the little pollen sacks on it after it reached roughly 5 foot which i figgured just to pick off because it was looking more like a herm. My brothers was all bud as far as you could see into the plant, but once mine started those few pollen sacks that opened up, fairly soon after his started seeding big time.. as is the sativa, but the sativa has alot of hairs on it too, so I am confused as to weather its male or just herm. Ive been told about this La Femme spray for plants, contains …

I just had a rather successfull first attempt in growing some weed. Now I noticed a few things and need clarification. I started a few plants in about September last year and all grew about 6ft tall, so I was quite pleased with the results. I knew I made a few mistakes like using too small pots (yeah I know, the next lot goes into the ground). Two of the plants were girls and I got about 2 ounces of goodies from both of them. For a first attempt, not bad I guess. As soon as I knoew the sexes of the plants, I started to clone the females and 4 of my 5 clones actually survived my "cut, dip in rooting hormones and straight in the dirt"-approach, which is a bit surprising…

I am a complete knob when it comes to growing. I was born with two brown thumbs (everything I touch dies) but had some unexpected success with some outdoor plants. I really got into it but now, thanks to autumn, my efforts are coming to a grinding halt. What am I going to do for the next 6 months? Keep growing I hope Considering outdoors is a no-no atm, I am considering some indoor activities. But I don't want to spend a fortune on setting up a grow room or buy elaborate lighting setups just to spend the money I save on buying weed on equipment and electricity. I want to keep it as simple as possible, utilise natural light and supplement it with artificial light in the…

I used to grow using Tick's Organic Soil Mix at Overgrow, and even won Overgrow picture of the week or month or whatever once with it!! Oh that was a beautiful plant, rock hard buds too.. Mmmm Ok so, I need this mix recipe again! Did anyone save it perhaps, or can find a link that works, or something? Hell, maybe someone remembers! I remember it had in it: - A bale of Promix BX soil - Worm castings - Bone Meal - Blood Meal Don't remember quantities, or if there were more things, or any additional instructions. I just remember I used to water my plants with water, and that was that. Hope I score here Socks

I thought I would suppliment my last post with some pics of the setup. The plants were germinated on Jan 4. The section on the left of the first photo shows the vegetative chamber with LED + CFL, The right shows the main HPS flowering section. Vegetative clones are 4 weeks old - that is the clones rooted 4 weeks ago. Current clone size is 12 inches. Flowering plants have been flowering for just 4 weeks and almost done. Comments, questions welcome! http://img72.imageshack.us/img72/997/55648746lj3.jpg http://img145.imageshack.us/img145/2232/53087238bk6.jpg http://img220.imageshack.us/img220/1256/66991269yx4.jpg
