the other day someone said here that I never cop a break. I disagreed - at the time. Well, next on the never-ending-drama-that-is-my-grow/life my landlord/owner visited today and wants to sell the property. That wouldnt be so bad (in the grand scheme of things) but it gets worse - she wants to renovate beforehand - starting next wednesday. And I'm maybe 5weeks from harvest!!! Fuck me my friends, I thought I'd eventually get on top with this grow then this happens! Anyway the purpose of this... I know I'm guna have to pull em but i got about 5 days to get the best i can outa em(2days extra to flush and clean up). Anyone know something that will kick em in the nut…

Hi, So I recently purchased a large Nylex container from Bunnings as a nutrient tank. I got it home and realised that it says on the inside "recycled plastic do not use in food handling." I'm guessing I need to return it? Some advice would be great. A link to a suitable replacement or some pointers to one would be awesome, too, if necessary. I'm having a hard time finding suitable things that aren't stupidly overpriced. Bunnings had some food storage containers that were a suitable size and significantly cheaper, but they were clear. Maybe I'm just blind.

Hey guys, being a first time grower, i found some of the terminology or slang to do with growing a bit confusing, so i did a search and found a topic on a different forum with most of the information i was looking for. I couldnt find anything similar on this forum so i thought i'd repost it here. This is the link to the original post. Vocabulary of growing terms/slang I DID NOT WRITE THIS, I MERELY COPY AND PASTED IT. Full credit goes to MajoR_TokE from rollitup.org Hope this helps everyone! Peace, Crunchy.

I'm getting a DR100 grow tent (100 x 100 x 200cm) for my next grow and wondered what method I should use for best results? I've been using autopots in a wardrobe up until now, but it's time for a change and am planning a SCROG with my 400w HPS. I have thought about using the NFT grow tanks, but the smallest is the NFT 205 which is 71cm x 40cm which in a room of 100 x 100 is a lot of wasted space. The next size up is the NFT 424 at 112cm x 50cm which is too big. So I wondered what would be the best method for a SCROG in a room 100 x 100cm and how many plant I should use?

Hey guys, firstoff sorry for perhaps an unclear title, i was unsure of the exact terms for my question; i am looking into buying some seeds from a seedbank (possibly from holland?), and assuming mine arrive and everything looks ok from a glance - when do i have to start using the seeds to get them to germinate (i.e - is there a point that if i do not do anything to the seeds they still die eventually?) thanks in advance

Just curious as to what type of water people have and use. As I am getting back into a grow cycle after moving I just checked my tap and rain water: Tap water PH=9, EC=0.8 Rain Water PH=7, EC=0 Luckily I have a 20,000 litre rain water tank which should take care of watering nicely. what's everyone one else got.

Hey smokers, I'm about to embark on my first outdoor grow - in September (I'm in Sydney). All the grow diaries that I've seen and most info I've read show growers getting their girls to harvest point and then ripping them out of the ground - Now it's not like I'm an extreme hippie who is shedding a tear for all the beautiful plants who only get through one season before they are uprooted, but is there any benefit in killing the plant at this point? Does the plant only have a single "good" flowering cycle in her life, or is it merely a safety measure to reduce the risk of being busted with a giant tree?? Years ago I met a bloke at the pub, got talking and we ended bac…

hey fellas, i'm trying my hand at cloning for the first time. they're all males cuz i don't wanna practise on a female yet. they were cut at 45 degrees with a sterile blade, dipped in clonex, put into a jiffy pot soaked in rhizotonic solution, then transfered to the humidity dome with two small ventilation holes either side of the dome. the temp sits at 28 degrees (due to a heat mat underneath) inside and the previous wilted ones perked up. i've supported them with a skewer tho because otherwise the little buggers fall to the side after a little while. is this normal? so i'm looking for any positive/negative feedback.. ways to improve.. is it too humid? too hot? should th…

Hey everyone, its been about a week since my last post and just wanted to keep you updated on my first grow. Both plants are coming along really well and look very promising. I would expect at least another 2-3 weeks before I transplant them into a "bigger" pot (at least a 3-4 gallon pot would work right?). Here is my question, if the planter is big enough, would it be ok to put two plants in it at the same time? Or should i use two different planters? this is my biggest concern because of the lack of room. Thanks for your time guys.

Hello I am new to the forum and country. I know a thing or two about "broccoli" but have NO IDEA what the laws are about growing 1 plant for personal use. I know the laws of the USA but not Oztown. I am curious of the laws in South Australia. I think you are aloud to use for personal use at home but thats all I know. And I dont know even if thats correct. So please someone out there clue me in. I would like to grow a plant but dont want to be going to jail for it. Thanks

Well of late i have noticed a few of my seedligs shrivel and fall over, does anyone have any idea what could cause this ??? the actual leaves stay fine but part ofthe stem appears as though it has been squashed flat and cant support any weights... its only a bagseed so i am not too worried but this is the second one out of the batch too do it.
