is it possible to stress one of two clones from the same plant so that you can breed them or will the male turn out sterile

Hi there, Looking to clone for the first time. I know the process of taking clones and how to look after them but I am slightly unclear on the process of selecting a mother plant. I will explain what I was going to do and hopefully someone can tell me if this is correct. I have 3 plants that have been vegging for about 1 month now from seed (not female seeds) I was going to chuck them from 18/6 down to 12/12 until they show sex, get rid of the male/s and then revert back to 18/6 veg a bit more and then take cuttings from the fem plant/s is this correct when growing from seed? Thanks, UC

Has any1 had any experience growing lowlifes auto russians?? they say they only grow 14 to 18 inches high and r ready in 9 weeks. So far mine are 13 weeks in n only just starting to flower at about 4 - 5 ft high . . . . . so much for 18 inches!!!! not that this is a bad thing, just wondering if turning the light back will bring them in quicker or will it have no effect on an auto strain?

When trying to work out the temp of a grow cabinet, do you take the temp from where the plants sit (under the light) or do you take the temp from the top of the grow cabinet? Seems like a stupid and ez question but i dunno the answer I assume you take the temp from where the plants sit but if thats the case i have some heat problems Cheers

Hey all, ive recently been growing a few auto white russians and ive kept a few males for the pollin to grow sum seed. I went to collect sum pollin today and noticed that all 3 males have grown about 10 seeds each on the very tip of the male flower,i was quite shocked as i have never heard of male producing seed. Does any1 know anything bout this?? r these seeds any good to grow?? will they be 'male-inized'?? or will they just be like normal seed from a female?? and yes the plant were male not affa's they never showed any sign of being female through out their life, i should probly add the plants look to be at the end of their life, they r starting to die off slightly- co…

Hey guys Does anybody have any good techniques they would like to share about the premium conditions for getting plants to turn female? In the Grow Bible(i really should stop quoting the Grow Bible), it says that if you keep your soil at the right PH and feed them properly, that you increase your chances of getting your seedlings to turn female. Is this true? Or is the sex of the seed, predetermined? In other words, do the seeds actually have a sex at the point they are created on the plant? Thanks guys Peace

Im growing for personal use under a 250w hps and only flower 2 plants at a time, but plan to keep about 5 bonsai mother plants. If I got busted would the police count the mother plants as the total number of plants?

Over the last 2 weeks i have been doing a trial of rizotonic vs seasol on 4 different plants and have noticed and amazing results! Using the amount of 2mls per litre with nutes i have come to the conclusion that i have been getting RIPPED OFF! All plants are looking extremely healthy. The 2 with the riz on them look good, and the 2 with the seasol on them look good with a very healthy root system on them! The difference: Riz $100 bottle Seasol $8 bottle The trial was on coco run to waste system with a flush every 7 days and using silica as well with ph 6.0. BH PS HGS Ripped me Off!

Hi Guys, Have just germed some Belladonna (Paradise seeds) in some jiffy peat pellets and am preparing a veg medium mix for their first pots. To work with I have: vermiculite, perlite, coir-peat and a yates premium potting mix containing dynamic lifter. I would just like to know your opinions on what would be the best mix for vegging. I am thinking just perlite, vermiculite and coir peat as I know the peat already has some kind of added fertilizer in it. Save the potting mix for final transplant along with the others maybe? Can I get your thoughts. Cheers. =) U.C
